This shoe-throwing thing really makes me feels bad for Bush, sort of. Not because shoes were thrown at him, but that there was so very little outrage. Here was the President of the United States, his country's face to the world, being publicly insulted to his face. The public response at home? "Eh, he deserved it." It must really really suck to be so throughly disliked.
