As the final touches were being put to the thesis, as an encouragement, I have rewarded myself with two pairs of corduroy pants cut in a narrow-legged trouser style that I like. One pair in brown, one pair in black, of course. I look forward to receiving them with more anticipation than is perhaps respectable. That's fine.
